Mystic Blues Rock
Iradya is a name that says it all, combining irada (Arabic for will) and Soraya (star). A Chilean Palestinian artist, singer songwriter and producer, she adopted the name as a manifesto marking a new chapter in her musical career.
Her work is rooted in Mystic Blues Rock, blending blues rock with world music while drawing inspiration from Mediterranean and Arabic musical traditions. Her artistic universe is dark, symbolic and emotionally charged, built around the dialogue between the visible and the invisible, the conceptual foundation of her debut EP No hay luz sin oscuridad (2025). The singles Narciso and Niña expand this body of work, now available on digital platforms worldwide.
While based in Italy, she is developing her debut album, Turista Migrante, dedicating an extended creative process to its composition and production. The album portrays a diasporic identity, a voice that belongs to several places without fully belonging to any of them. Live, she performs solo with backing tracks, using voice and body as the central narrative elements of her performances.
Alongside her artistic career, Iradya is actively engaged in cultural management and the preservation of blues history from a gender perspective. She founded and directed the first three editions of Festival Día del Blues Chile between 2023 and 2025, an independent initiative that coordinated simultaneous concerts across multiple Chilean cities to celebrate International Blues Day while increasing the visibility of women in blues.
She also founded and directs Mujeres del Blues, an international media platform dedicated to documenting, promoting and preserving the history of women in blues. She is also the creator of the podcast El Blues es Femenino, devoted to blues history, culture and women artists.
Artist, cultural manager and communicator, Iradya brings these three dimensions together in a single creative vision, establishing herself as an active voice within the Ibero American blues scene.
